This year’s AGM promises to be, once more, a most interesting blend of elections, business/town meeting, featured speaker, refreshments, lottery prizes, and good old-fashioned socializing!

All members are most welcome and encouraged to attend.

The date is Sunday March 21st at 1:00 p.m. The venue is: Regeringsgatan 30, quite close to the NK department store.

Here is the opportunity to elect your functionaries and representatives to the ESCC Board, and to discuss activities for 2010. On sign up, Peter will give you the necessary arrival details, as this downtown Stockholm office complex has special weekend security.

Your early sign-up will insure that we can also plan properly for refreshments. You also have an opportunity to nominate yourself and/or fellow members to the Board by calling Peter Dickson (tel. 08/ 254 111) no later than Tuesday March 16^th.

Our featured speaker will be Daniel Ogden, who is a Foreign Lecturer at the English Department of Uppsala University. Please read the separate article in this issue of The Newsletter for a little background about Daniel Ogden, and his selected presentation topic. A question period is planned to follow.

Yes, there will also be a lottery with prizes! Each paid up member may buy a lottery ticket for SEK 20. If however, you have arrived and are signed in before 1:00 p.m. on Sunday March 21st, your first lottery ticked is absolutely free of charge!
